Oh boy. I am really feeling the aches and pains of pregnancy now. My feet are so sore by the end of the day. And when Shelby decides to turn her whole body around, OH MY GOSH. Last week I was watching her push both sides of my stomach at the same time, talk about uncomfortable. But there are some good things that come along with being this far ahead in the game. Jeremy and I are both getting so anxious to see her. Just thinking about how big she will be and what she will look like is extremely exciting. I went to the hospital a few weeks ago to register and the secretary gave me a quick tour of the maternity floor. I realized when I was in a delivery room that I am definitely nervous about the labor and delivery process and I hope it goes much smoother than Gabe's.
And Saturday morning we had a bit of a scare. I had to go into the hospital because of some bleeding. We discovered that Shelby is breech right now and her position is irritating my cervix. This is also the suggested cause for all of my discomfort over the past few weeks. So God willingly she will change positions. But whatever happens, I just hope that both of us are safe and healthy. I can honestly say too that I am glad I haven't gained much weight (5 pounds so far). I do not want to have to worry about losing it after she is born and I know what a struggle it is for many moms. I do worry about the sleepness nights and taking care of two little ones by myself during the day. Thankfully, Jeremy has four weeks of vacation (two extras for all the hours he put in earlier this year) so he will be taking two after my mom leaves. But after that, I am on my own. I know that millions of moms do it all the time and we will be fine, it's just such a change from one wild child to two. But it is very exciting and I cannot wait to meet our little girl.
